Deleting a folder

Click a folder’s bin icon to delete it. Orbit asks first, listing the pages inside, because everything in the folder is deleted — its pages, the folders inside it, and any other files such as images. If the page you have open is in the folder, it closes.

Nothing reaches the live site until you publish. Until then, pages that were already saved to the site can be brought back one by one from Changes (they show there as deleted). A page you created and never published is gone for good.

Folders can be deleted wherever pages can be deleted: in sections that take new pages and aren’t read-only. A new folder you’ve only just made, with nothing saved in it yet, simply disappears.
