Download Orbit

One app for every site generator. Free for one site; Pro or Team for more.

Want to see what you'd be editing first? Visit the demo site ↗, then open it in Orbit from Help ▸ Open the Demo Site.

Download the app for your computer and open your site’s repository. You’ll need git installed and access to the repository. (Bundled git and one-click GitHub sign-in — so there’s nothing else to set up — are on the way.)

Installing

Open the downloaded file and drag Orbit MD into Applications, then open it. Orbit checks for new versions when it opens and tells you when one is ready.

On a new Mac, Orbit first asks to install Apple’s free developer tools (which include git) — one click and a few minutes, once. To open a private site, the Mac needs to be signed in to GitHub once: how.
