Folders
Organise pages into folders — create them, move pages between them, delete them — within rules your developer sets.
Editors can keep a section tidy without touching files:
- Create a folder right from the sidebar, next to where it should go.
- Move a page to another folder — say, an old post into
archive. Orbit keeps its history and fixes its image and link paths. - Delete a folder, after a warning that lists every page inside it.
Developers stay in control: per-section folder rules say where new pages and folders are allowed, and which folders are off limits — set in Orbit’s Settings or in the site’s config file. Because new folders can change a site’s URLs, the docs show how to make sure your site copes with them first.
