Coming soon. Open your preview site in a window inside Orbit and browse it as your visitors will — the real design, built by your host as usual. A bar along the top names the page you’re on: click Edit and Orbit opens that page, at the words you’d selected. Switch between Mobile, Tablet and Full to get an idea of how the page looks on a phone or tablet.

After you save, the window shows that the preview site is updating and reloads itself once your change is built — or tells you the build failed. It finds out from GitHub, which Netlify, Vercel and Cloudflare Pages already report to, so there’s nothing new to sign in to.

It uses your computer’s own browser engine (Safari’s, on a Mac), so there’s nothing extra to install, and nothing runs on your computer — the window only ever shows your preview site; any other link opens in your usual browser.

Today, the Markdown preview pane shows your writing formatted as you type, and Preview ↗ opens the page on your preview site.
